Great fun talking to the BTEC students in Exeter College yesterday. We talked about the importance of practice and how to form a habit of practice by placing your practice session after an already fully formed habit. For example if you brush your teeth at the same time each day then put your practice session after it. The key is little and often though! Do 20/30 mins a day or every other day rather than 4/5 hours at the end of the week! You are more likely then to commit the new information to the long term memory bank!
